Baptism is the first sacrament of initiation. Through Baptism we are joined to Christ and become members of the Body of Christ, the Church. Original sin and all personal sins are forgiven.
Infant Baptism requires the parents and godparents to attend a Baptismal Seminar in preparation. Baptismal Seminars are held on the 2nd Monday of the month from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM in the Pastoral Center. After taking the seminar, parents must meet with the pastor, at which time the date will be set. Baptisms are held on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month at 1:15 pm. The Church requires anyone over the age of seven years of age to join the RCIA. There is an RCIA for children and teens. Adult Baptism involves the RCIA Process. |
